CoopGear Lab researches automatic coop doors and other backyard chicken equipment around the questions that affect ownership: reliability, fit, weather exposure, power, controls, maintenance and safety.
We use manufacturer documentation, published specifications and clearly identified product information when building guides. We do not describe a product as hands-on tested unless that testing actually happened. When a recommendation is based on documented features and use-case analysis, we say so plainly.
