Home / Automatic Doors / Omlet Autodoor Stuck Calibrating? Follow the Door Fault Checklist
If your Omlet Autodoor never finishes calibration, do not keep restarting the calibration loop. Omlet’s own guidance sends you directly into the Door Fault troubleshooting sequence.
On Smart models, update firmware first. Then check for obstruction, clean the tracks, verify the roosting rack position, inspect for warping and check the motor, gear stay, gear rack, connectors and wiring. Recalibrate only after the physical or electrical problem is corrected.
Calibration requires the door to complete a predictable full travel. Anything that prevents the motor from reaching or recognizing the expected position can stall the process.
Omlet puts firmware first for Smart Autodoor troubleshooting.
Remove feathers, dirt and bedding from the sliding path.
Nearby coop components should not interfere with the panel.
If the frame is twisted against an uneven surface, the door can bind during calibration.
Check the motor, gear stay and gear rack for damage or poor engagement.
A loose control-panel connector or damaged wire can interrupt the sequence.
Once the door moves smoothly through its full travel, start calibration again.
Omlet treats it as closely related and directs owners to the Door Fault troubleshooting path.
No. Repeated retries will not fix a mechanical bind or damaged component.
