Home / Automatic Doors / Omlet Autodoor Control Panel Lit but Unresponsive? Fix It in This Order
If your Omlet Autodoor control panel is lit but ignores button presses, the problem is not the same as a blank screen. Omlet’s troubleshooting starts with a restart, temperature check and control-panel diagnostics.
Restart the control panel first. If the temperature is below about -10°C / 14°F, warm the panel and batteries indoors, then restart again. On Smart models, check firmware. If buttons remain unresponsive, inspect the panel and door wiring before replacing the controller.
A restart is the least disruptive first step and can clear a temporary software lockup.
Omlet specifically flags temperatures below -10°C / 14°F because cold batteries can affect operation. Warm the panel and batteries, then retry.
If the panel can still communicate with the app, confirm that firmware is current.
Try navigating menus with the arrows and operating the door with the OK button. This helps distinguish one failed button from a fully unresponsive panel.
Look for moisture, corrosion, battery leakage or physical damage.
A wiring problem can make the panel appear alive while preventing commands from reaching the door.
If the panel remains unresponsive after restart, temperature, firmware and wiring checks, Omlet recommends replacing the control panel.
